Weigh- In Wednesday: 6 Month on Weight Watchers

Unlike the past few months where it was a struggle to shed some pounds, this month I found it incredibly easy... mostly because I was nauseous, nervous, and so filled with anxiety over other things going on in our lives right now that I had zero appetite (I'll get into these in a later post when things have settled down I promise).

As of writing this post (last Friday) I am down another 6 lbs. and just have 11 left to go to reach my goal!

It's also the first month I ever skipped logging in my food for a few days!  I know that's a bad habit to get into but I knew I was eating waay over my points and still dropping weight each morning when I went to weigh myself so I didn't worry overly much about it.

I still tried to stick to healthy eating most days and found myself snacking on a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and low- point (or zero point!) proteins in the afternoon.

  1. I am back on counting calories but not WW; just staying within my allotted calories for the day. I am also walking on the treadmill once (sometimes twice) per day AND intermittent fasting. I love the fasting because it gives control and also gives me a virtual stop sign so that I know my eating boundaries.

    I neeeeeeeed eating boundaries. :)

    1. LOL. I need eating boundaries too. Most nights I try not to eat after dinner and tend to eat a pretty late breakfast.

  2. It's great when you can get to the point when you don't have to actually count up each point and just have a sense for what's within range and what's not. You're doing so great!!!

    1. I do find keeping lots of healthy food on hand is key and I'm trying to get better about packing a few for when we're on the go too.

  6. Sorry to hear that life has been so stressful for you (it does get that way, doesn't it?), and I hope all settles down soon. Congrats on your weight loss. I've shed 12 pounds myself over the last 4 months, on the Flat Belly Diet. I'm at my goal weight, and now must remain steadfast about my eating habits. Here's to healthy snacks!
