Handmade Easter Cards

We don't do much for Easter around our house.  I often make a handmade card for each of my boys and my husband.  We put together a small Easter basket for the boys and that's about it now that they've outgrown the Easter egg hunts and other hoopla.

I love making handmade cards as I think that added time and effort just adds a bit something extra.  I have not yet gotten around to making this year's cards yet but thought I'd share the cards I made last year in the hopes of motivating myself to get to work.

I had lots of fun playing around with my Cricut and adding little embellishments to each card.  I hope you enjoy them.

I cut out 4 different and coordinating eggs then embellished with some adhesive backed rinestones

Using a series of punches I created a bunny bum and feet and the large black circle makes it look like the
bunny is jumping through a hole.

For this card I cut a giant egg shape from the green paper and laid strips of paper across the backside
then mounted it on white and then onto the card.

This card I made entirely using the Cricut.

Do you have a favorite?  Mine is the first one mostly because I just love anything with a little sparkle.

  1. I like the one with the giant egg. That actually looks like something my kids could make pretty easily!
